I’m not exactly who knew, but my sister and her husband, were expecting their first child. Well, even tho my sister was due on Jan 2, she decided to hold out till today, as of 6:37pm my sister became a mom, and that instantly made me an uncle, so I am the uncle of a 9lb 10oz, 21in long baby boym Christopher Jacob was born, he’s doing great, and my sister, is doing well also, and she told me she was ready to go to sleep. Kris and Mike went to the hospital at 11pm last night and so they were ready to rest.
So Praise God, Mom and CJ are doing great.
Our church was challenged on Sunday, to put scripture in our heart, so here are the verses for the week, if anyone is interested in memorizing scripture with us. According to our pastor, if we memorize them, he’ll give us all a prize.

Well, we are back from our adventures in DC. You should check them out and see all the places we went, I would say that we covered a good portion of the National Mall area in a few days. We got to visit the Capitol, which I would have to say was definately a highlight. I have quite a few pics, but to highligh a few, this was in the rotunda of the US Capitol Building. So look around and enjoy the sights of DC taken from my camera.
We got back Saturday eve, just in time for our New Year’s Eve\Steve’s Birthday party, that was a lot of fun as well. And its now Tuesday, and time to get back to work..
