The Adventures of 'The Kidds'

I just wanted to put up a quick post of a few pictures we took recently, and thought it would be nice to put up a picture of the two grandmothers.

So it is official, I am a dad.  This picture below kind of sums up the past week.  It included a lot of firsts, nights of minimal sleep, a whole lot of diapers, staying home for a whole week, only wearing shorts all day even though it is like 20 degrees outside…

This week has been a lot easier with Corrine’s parents here.  They have helped with the transition, by helping with the day shift, so Corrine and I can nap from taking the night shift.  We are starting to learn the different cries and what some of them mean.  So we are getting a little better with that.  The first few nights, we didn’t know the difference between a “I have gas”, “I have a dirty diaper” , & “I am hungry”.  So we are learning, and I guess that is the first lesson of fatherhood, “Learn from your kids, they are trying to teach you something.”

Mercy, has a photographer that travels around to the Maternity recovery section and takes pictures of babies, and they post them up on the Our365 web site…  You can check out the pictures she took there..

Daniel was born this morning at 10:37 am weighing in at 8lbs 6oz and a whole 20.5 inches long. Everyone is doing good, and I hope to post some pictures once we get home, which will hopefully be tomorrow…
